Homebody and Hittin' the Town

G is painting the town with his Papa this weekend.  They rolled in to Village Inn early this morning after a hard night.  They earned that hearty Southern breakfast.

He had this view on the flight out, poor guy.

My day started like this.

And ended like this.

No mountains for me.  This was my view most of the day.

Here's a little window into my life.  Bunny butts and scraggly feet.  And no luvins.

So far it has been a weekend of productivity:  cooking meals (and cookies!), cleaning (a novelty), catching up on TV (after 10 episodes in a row of Homeland, I'm now caught up with the rest of modern society), and movies, and coffee, and laundry.

And this:

Here's the climax of this oh-so-exciting post.  I cleaned and organized the closet.  Like, we can walk on the carpet now.  All the clothes are in their appropriate plastic drawers and all our papers are filed away.  It's all very exciting.  I get freaked out thinking about grad school, like I need to get my life 100% in line in the next 2 months because I'll never have any personal time again.  I have this tendency to internally freak out, which leads to much external organization.  Making lemonade so to speak.  And blog posts.  With fragmented sentences and no coherent points.

Time to find another movie.  And stay up way too late (after 10 pm!).  And sleep in tomorrow because it's a holiday and I'm off!
