Due West

First of all, let me just say that it snowed yesterday.  On OCTOBER 4th.

Also, we broke down and turned the heat on in the house.  When we got home tonight it was below 50 degrees inside and Lucy was wearing ear muffs.  It was time.

Today was a repeat of last Saturday - a long drive a few hours from Denver.

This time we stopped for lunch at an actual restaurant.  A small hole in the wall Tex Mex joint - the best kind!

Yes, I'm wearing a wool sweater.  Yes, I still got cold today.  CRAZY.

The next couple of weekends will be busy and after that - heck, probably before that - all the fall foliage will have disappeared.  So we decided to take advantage and soak in as much autumn as possible.

Plans for tomorrow include a whole lot of laying around.  Time for some hot chocolate.
