Is it friday yet?

Ok, you know the introversion has taken over my life when I don't even have the energy to watch TV.  Well that was remedied last night, friends.  I powered through the work day and made a beeline home to watch Downton Abbey, the love of my life until Vampire Diaries returns next week.

Also I'll have you know that this weekend I figured out the DVR all on my own and no longer need G to move here immediately.  I am woman and all that.  Here's what I love about PBS and Masterpiece Theater: the premiere of Season 3 was two hours long with no commercials.  The networks for all my favorite shows need to take the hint:  forget commercials and product placement.  Take two full minutes before the show starts and just tell the public to buy a Lexus and drink Coke and use Sprint's network and buy the new iPad mini.  Done!  Then let us watch the show in peace.

In case you're wondering, yes I'm still reading the tome and have high hopes to finish it before this weekend when C and I go see Zero Dark Thirty.  It's a good book but I'm aging as I read it and keep getting tempted by magazines.

So far this is the longest week of my life and it's only Wednesday.  Tomorrow I get to see BFJ though and meet a new niece of mine!
