Christmas Markets

Today we hit up the Christmas Markets in the Pavilion area of downtown Denver in the hopes of finding gifts for the remaining peeps on our list.  Fail.  I did find a headband to wear to my company's holiday party and some sea salt caramels, though.

Which is really what the Christmas spirit is all about.

In 2007 we went to Germany right before Christmas.  We traveled through several towns and hit up their Christmas Markets which I will not even attempt to spell in German.

We haven't aged a bit!  In fact, I think we look younger...and thinner!  The years have been kind to us!

It was a bit of deja vu though because we walked a few blocks from this market and stumbled upon a real German market.  It was such a nice trip down memory lane, and much warmer here than Stuttgart or Garmisch.  :)

A new (and dainty!) nativity for my collection.

I have been busy downloading additional Christmas tunes, working my way through "A Christmas Carol" and trying to lose weight by intense mind control in order to fit into a dress for our work shindig next week.  I don't think it's working.

Also I would just like to say that I get to see Orca next week!  And then the following week she's coming out here for good!  I can't waaaaaaaaaaiiiiittttttttt.
