Good news to men on earth! I finally got my CO driver's license! You might remember that I went to apply for it over a month ago. Braved the DMV and the lines. Was patient and smiled and provided all the necessary documents.
Then it never came.
Apparently they mailed it at exactly the same time that the post office decided to stop delivering my mail.
For two weeks.
Word to the wise: if the DMV mails you something and it gets returned to them, they won't mail it again. You'll have to go pick it up in person. The problem with this is that they kept bouncing my license back and forth between two DMV's. After several painful phone calls (I want to be snarky, I really really want to but it's the Christmas season and I'm flying tomorrow and there's a little voice telling me to just refrain) and a few trips, I finally got it yesterday. It's like the bureaucratic gold under the red tape rainbow, I swear.

I wanted to ask what their policy is on photoshopping pictures to take off a few pounds but thought it better not to push my luck.
At least I won't have to use my passport to fly to VA tomorrow!
