Don't Waste the Literature

You know you have a good friend when she sends you Pumpkin Spice coffee that she isn't drinking.  I usually stick pretty closely to my seasonal traditions, but April or not, I opened these bad boys up and drink one every day.  I'm such a rebel that I also lit a pumpkin spice candle in the apartment.

Also?  The magazines are overtaking us.  G accused me of hoarding them, but I'm just saving them until I have a chance to pore through them all.  The problem is that I can never get to these because my subscription of The New Yorker comes weekly, and it's all I can do to get one read before the next one arrives.  I have to delicately balance the magazines with all the novel reading and, let's be honest, TV-watching.

Some of the ones on the bottom are from last summer before we even moved!  But I can't throw them away yet!  Is it sad that I actually thought for a moment of just taking a weekend and plowing through all these?  Oh, Type A, why do you make me this way?

Before the latest snow storm, it was the most beautiful spring weather ever.

I miss it and want it back immediately.  We've been looking adoringly at the mountains and have decided to climb them all.  I guess we need to be able to breathe first so we're going to start doing training hikes on the weekends.

I'm sure it'll be entertaining for the natives, flying by the two bent-over, heaving transplants....
