Starting today.
I met up with The Russkie and Her American Hubs for the best breakfast ever (besides Boulder Cafe). Hello, goat cheese and spinach omelet topped with fresh arugula!
We hiked a four mile loop overlooking part of Golden. As you can see, the weather sucked. I actually got sunburned. Gotta love CO. I'll have you know that while we were scaling the mountain, I kept my mouth shut about all things Russian. I didn't want to "accidentally" find myself shoved off the side. I kept The Russkie happy until we were safely at the bottom.
We photo bombed The American Hubs's selfie accidentally! This picture cracks me up. Knowing him, he took it this way on purpose, but notice how we're yapping away in the background, completely oblivious! I think we were talking about Cold Stone Creamery at this point. Since we talked about it for about an hour straight.
On my way home I stopped at Sonic for the biggest Diet Dr. Pepper they serve. I'm out of it at the house and it's just way too much effort to go to the store. So I'm nursing it carefully because it's gotta last all night.
More hiking tomorrow!
