The Austen paper is done and done! I finished it and emailed it in first thing this morning!
We'll keep on writing til the end. |
Some of G's family were briefly in town on their way to the mountains for a week of skiing, so we met up for lunch. I got all fancy with my hair (read: hadn't washed it in days) and put it in a side bun. It turned out pretty well! My hair never looks good, so I had to snap a pic.
Drinking red wine in the middle of the day is magnificent.
Following it up with a 2-hour bike ride is a bit much. My poor head. But the weather has been beyond amazing lately and we must take advantage. We still need to be mentally prepared for random snow storms until like June, so these early spring days must be enjoyed.
At one point, G mumbled, "My butt is numb." I was like, I wish mine was! Yikes, it's been a while. It doesn't matter how cushy the seat is, after about 15 minutes I can feel all my butt bones and it's so unpleasant.
Because it feels so springy dingy, I baked another pie. This one was cherry and white peach. Frikkin' amazing.
Time to - get ready for it - read for fun!!!!
