Snow in the Forecast

It wouldn't be May in Denver without the forecast calling for six inches of snow tomorrow!

The weather is usually this picturesque.  For real.

Not that the weather even matters, because this is how I'm spending all of my time anyways.

This picture is black and white for a reason.  It reflects my mood.  Dear Lord in Heaven I am so frikkin ready to be done with this and sleep all summer except for when we're in Croatia.

All I do is work on my paper.  Late at night.  First thing in the morning.  On small breaks in between work.  Ughhhhhhh.

I did manage to take a teensy break today and attend a Mother's Tea sponsored by a Colorado Group that works in conjunction with the K-8 school.  A Bunny Mama is still a mother, you know!

I deserve every mimosa I drank this morning because yesterday was our school field trip.  I volunteered to help chaperone since I know the kids so well and let me tell you I headed straight to Sonic afterwards and got the largest Diet Dr. Pepper they offer.  All I can say to you gals with kiddos is Happy Frikkin Mother's Day tomorrow!  Put a little something special in your morning coffee if you know what I mean!

It's almost time for Orphan Black - the only TV show out there worth the risk of flunking out of grad school.
