But I knew what today was because last night G and Lucy started high stepping around the living room, laying out all the Star Wars movies to watch today.

I had grand plans to go to church and when I asked G if he was planning to go he said, "Heck, yeah! To the Church of Star Wars!"
{Pause for the lightning strike.}
But church never happened for me today because at 2:00 this morning I woke with the worst case of food poisoning ever. It was violent. And it lasted until about 8:30 a.m. And that's pretty much all I'll say about that.
There was one point that I was knocking on death's door and just praying it was actually food poisoning and not the beginning of a kidney stone saga (this is how it happened before). The irony is the only food I can trace this back to is a turkey and cheese wrap I made last night. Both the turkey and cheese were in date but apparently something went horribly wrong.
This is what I get for being healthy. Had I, you know, ordered the double pepperoni pizza that I actually wanted, I would have slept the night away and spent all day today working on my paper instead of downing my anti-nausea meds (from the kidney stone days) and conking out on the heating pad (because I basically heaved my back muscles out of whack).
But don't worry! G and Lucy still got to watch Star Wars! All is well.
I'm finally back to semi-normal. And despite all my whining (and yes, it is substantial) I'm thankful I am a Type-A person. Yesterday I got all my tutoring stuff done for the week plus my last grad school assignment, plus all the household chores. The grand plan was to leave myself the entire day today for research. Which, of course, didn't happen. But at least I can cram that in this week!
And I'm an auntie! Meet Hanyu!
My bro and his GF got him today. Could you die or what? I need to fly to OKC immediately and meet this lil guy! Lucy won't care - she's still watching Star Wars.
