Thankful

Guess who gets back to the Mile High City today?

This guy!  And not a moment too soon, either.  Lucy is ready for a break.  And so am I.  This single parenting gig is no joke.

Someone please take me away from this clingy woman.
Well, 'tis the month of Thanksgiving!  It is starting to stay chilly outside and, with this being CO and all, I'm sure the snow will start at any moment.  Frankly I'm surprised we made it through October without a blizzard.  I now have a jacket with me more often than not, and soon I - along with the rest of the state's population - will begin to layer like a mofo.

BUT! In the spirit of this month's holiday, I am being thankful.  Here are a few things I'm thankful for:

*The end is in sight!  This week is my last big push of the semester!  I have a lot of stuff to teach, and a huge presentation/paper due in My Least Favorite Class Ever.  But then!  I'll be mostly home free until December.

*G gets back today!

*I'm teaching 2 courses next semester and I'm FINALLY returning to some real Lit classes.  (Die, theory!  Die!)

*Lit Society is this week - with a change in venue!  (That's code for 'restaurant'.)

*Decorations, decorations, decorations!

What are you thankful for?
