If Anyone Needs Me, I'll Be Sitting in Traffic

Well hello there, from my old stomping grounds, the land of humidity.  My skin and hair are like, THANK YOUUUUUUUU.

It is MAY 1ST, people!  How did that happen?!

Know how I was feeling "meh" about traveling yesterday?  Yeah.  This is how my day started out:

My cab driver was not only on time, he was early.  Miracle.  He saw me take a picture of this sticker and he said, earnestly, "It's not for if people get sick you know.  It's for...[mimed drinking out of a bottle.]"  I was like, yeah, I know.

After going through the checking in hubbub, I skulked around the airport restaurants and decided on The Cantina because Tex Mex is always the number one choice.  Man, am I glad I went there.  Best Bloody Mary's I have ever had.  Hands down.

Not one,

But two.

And I chased them with a scoop of this.

I'm starting to see why everyone in the world loves the Denver airport.

I did a little shopping in this store, which is one of my faves for jewelry, but left empty-handed.

Thanks to the drinks, I slept the entire way to VA, which makes for a super quick trip.  Then I sat in traffic all night, on the way to M's house, and traffic is where I'll be for the rest of the week.

Welcome to Northern Virginia.  Expect delays.

I'm happy I decided to stay with her, though.  It's nice to be in a real house, even if I'm staying in a boy's room.

And it's nice to have some animals to love on, since I miss the bun bun.

Let's get this work party started!

But first, let's stop at Dunkin' Donuts because I'm starving to death and also I need coffee.
